Unlike other exterior real wood framed directories, enclosed letters boards, sign reader boards, and info boards, our free-standing outdoor enclosed letter boards are made with highly dense polyethylene. This recycled plastic lumber is faux wood. It looks like real wood but doesn't act like natural wood. What's impressive about this design is that it's impervious to water, chemicals and will never rot, crack, split or decay. Insects can't destroy it. Both display case and post are built with faux wood lumber making the entire standing letter board tough and durable, weatherproof with long outdoor life.

The outdoor enclosed letter board has a single door with a solid continuous left-sided hinge allowing the information board to open and close with ease. A Front CAM Lock and Break Resistant Acrylic for clear window viewing are included to protect the displayed message content.

What is the right letter size and how many letter sets with charterers and numbers are needed will be determined by the length of your messages and announcements as well as the grooved letterboard panel size within the interior cabinet space.
The enclosed letter board panel within the cabinet is removable, making it easy to add changeable plastic letters to create your message where it’s most desirable, indoors or outdoors. Vinyl is used because it's durable and can withstand the outside conditions. (Felt letter boards are not recommended for outdoor use.)
All letters for letter boards are universal and will work with other manufacturer's letterboards. A free Sprue Letter Set 2” high with 145 characters, numbers and symbols is included with every standing letter board display case. Sprue Letter Sets are plastic letters that easily break-away from a molded tree branch. Additional letter sets in a variety of sizes can be ordered. Depending on the font style you select, Helvetica or Times Roman, you can order black or white plastic letters in 1/2", 3/4", 1", 2" and 3" letter heights.
Boxed letter sets with individual letters in compartments are also available. It’s easy to store and find the letters when needed for creating a new personalized message or directory. Using different size letters can present a more graphically pleasing style and readable letterboard message.

Black letter Board comes standard went ordering a changeable letter board. To further enhance the look of the display cabinet you can select from several vinyl grooved letter board panel colors; Burgundy, White, Barcelona, Blue, Hunter Green and Grey.
For brightening up your info board interior, especially in dark or dimly lit areas, we can install LED lighting. Vinyl colors and LED light options can be added to your order at checkout.

When we refer to the viewable area, it's the size of the cabinet window that you will be able to see posted letter board messages. The overall enclosed exterior display case cabinet size will be larger and will vary based on the orientation selected, portrait or landscape. For smaller letter board cabinet sizes an eight-foot post (4"x4" x 96") is included. Five standard viewable cabinet window sizes are available in; 8.5 x 11, 8.5 x 14, 11 x 14, 11 x 17, 12 x 18. On the bottom of the display case cabinet and post, pre-drilled holes will be provided for easy installation of the two parts.
For large message center letter board sizes, two ten-foot posts (4"x4" x 120") are attached to the cabinet sides. Pre-drilled holes on cabinet and posts are provided for easy mounting. Select from 17 standard viewing cabinet window sizes for the larger displays; 18x24, 20x20, 20x30, 22x28, 24x24. 24x30, 24x32, 24x36, 27x38, 27x40, 27x41, 30x30, 30x36, 30x40, 36x36, 36x48,42x42.
Choose from 6 faux wood letter board cabinet/post finishes that were created to complement the surrounding exterior environment; Sand, Light Grey, Weathered Wood, Woodland Green, Cedar or White. For proper support, it's important that posts be secured at least 3 feet into the ground.
