Although considered old fashioned, cathedral reader and marquee boards still have the charm and simplicity that many religious affiliations find desirable. Our Value Line outdoor reader boards and church marquee boards offer effective ways to get your messages out to your congregation and the general public.
Our outdoor cathedral reader boards are lovely additions to any church, temple or other religious affiliated facility. The wall-mounted, weather resistant cases swing open. These also feature a full-length piano hinge with a front CAM-lock to secure the cabinet, as well as a ¼” thick break-resistant, clear polycarbonate acrylic window. Weep holes on the cabinet bottom help drain away water, and vents help reduce condensation build-up. These cathedral boards can be mounted onto brick, stone, cinder block, or wood. Our standing cathedral outdoor reader boards are akin to our wall-mounted option but include aluminum posts. These posts measure eight feet in length with pre-drilled holes to attach to the case. For best results, the posts should be at least three feet into the ground. You may choose between five available finishes, including white, black, satin silver, satin gold, and dark bronze.
The interior of these reader boards feature a translucent white acrylic copy board panel with plastic letter track rails. These rails hold changeable 4"" letters printed on 5" plastic cards, with seven rails altogether. You can start your message with the 300 piece letter set with black letters and red numbers that come free with the purchase of our cathedral outdoor reader boards. We offer additional letter sets for an additional cost.
Both standing and wall-mounted board models have a header area for your personalized message. This header panel allows you to present your church, religious affiliation, or any other desired message. We’ll print your message text free. Simply provide us with your message and we’ll print it in capitalized black Helvetica font. A rule of thumb—keep it short and simple for maximum visual effectiveness! If you prefer a custom message header, you may send us your logo, an image, or a different font style, and we’ll print it and add it to the header panel for an additional cost. You may also leave the header blank and have it printed elsewhere.
