These large and extra-large SwingFrame shadow box display cases come in metal and wood frames with options such as glass or wooden shelves. From 16" x 20" to 48" x 96", we offer many different sizes to best suit your space and the type of items you'll want to showcase. These shadowboxes can also be ordered in portrait or landscape orientations and come in various depths from 3" to 16". We can modify an existing shadow box style or build a custom shadow box case to your requirements with our in-house design capabilities.
The patented SwingFrame framing system conceals the hinges and sliding gravity lock behind the front metal or wood frame for a practically seamless appearance. There's no exposed front hardware to distract from the display. When wall-mounted, you won't be able to tell that the front of the case swings open. The front viewing window is break-resistant clear acrylic. To open the frame door, slide the gravity lock up with your finger.
The metal framed shadow boxes have a more contemporary style. You can choose how many glass shelves you need for your shadow box, from one to six. When items are relatively heavy, you may need thicker shelves that will hold them more easily. While the standard thickness is 1/4", we also offer 3/8" glass shelves. In front of the shadow box is a beveled matboard that will complement your chosen metal frame color or finish. For the standard metal frame, select from Satin Silver, Satin Black, Light Gold, Glacier White, or Dark Bronze for the case frame finish. That's just a start; there are more custom frame styles and colors available.
Our wooden wall shadow boxes offer a traditional flare that will look great in both homes and offices. These large shadow box display cases are the same as our metal framed cases but with different color finishes and options. Order these shadowboxes with glass or wooden shadow box shelves, and either shelf style will work perfectly with your display case selection. Choose between one and six wooden shelves, each measuring 3/4" thick. For the frame finish, find the most suitable color for your indoor space. Some of these options include White, Black, Walnut, Blue, and Honey Maple. The shadow box interior laminate is offered in black, white, or complementary to your frame finish. A beveled matboard border also comes with your wood frame shadow box in a color that complements the frame. Select from 9 unique colors.
Want to light up your shadow box? We have traditional fluorescent lighting using thin narrow bulbs that are long-lasting and replaceable. Or you can choose the latest in LED strip lighting technology. These bright, energy-efficient bulbs are long-lasting with 50,000 hours of longevity. And you have options to use it as top lighting or add it to the sides or around the entire perimeter of the cabinet interior.
Each Designer SwingFrame Shadow Box includes mounting cleats and hardware to secure the cabinet to the wall.
